HASAG Asbestos Disease Support is dedicated to supporting people affected by Asbestos-related diseases in the South, South East, London and the Home Counties.
HASAG was nominated by two members of the Bereavement Services Team at Southampton Cemeteries and Crematorium.
We were to be considered to receive a donation of £7,000 in memory of Frank Moore, an old employee and colleague from Southampton Crematorium.
Southampton City Council participates in The ICCM (Institute of cemetery and crematorium Management) Recycling of Metals Scheme. This scheme has been running for many years and has helped many charities in the past.

HASAG are so honoured to have been nominated to receive this incredible donation in memory of such a lovely man whom we helped after his diagnosis of Mesothelioma in March 2018. Frank and his daughter Tracey attended some of our coffee mornings in Portsmouth and Southampton as they were keen to get as much support and information as possible.
We were invited to Southampton Crematorium along with Franks family to accept a cheque for £7,000 on 11th February 2019.
We want to thank the bereavement services and Frank Moore’s family who nominated HASAG. We will put this money to very good use supporting others affected by asbestos related diseases.
Thank you so much from the HASAG Team
