Action Mesothelioma Day 2022 was, for the first time in 3 years face-to-face! It was held on 1st July, and the weather, thankfully, was fantastic.
We had 4 guest speakers:
Doraid Alrifai, Consultant Medical Oncologist at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Kate Williams, a BBC broadcaster who has mesothelioma
Lee Wymess, DaSH-Global, who have developed software for cancer patients
Rachel Thomas, a specialist mesothelioma nurse
We thank them all for their fantastic presentations.
The Team at HASAG wanted to thank every one of you for your support, we are so appreciative for the incredible friends we have and the support you have all shown over the last year. The money raised from Action Mesothelioma Day will go towards much needed research at the June Hancock Mesothelioma Research Fund and support at Mesothelioma UK which will allow us to continue to part-fund Mesothelioma UK Nurses.
